Two-Day Workshop on Quantum Algorithms Fosters Transborder Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration

April 10, 2025

A two-day workshop held on April 9 and 10, 2025, brought together leading researchers and practitioners in the field of quantum computing and cryptography to explore the latest advancements in quantum algorithms.

Workshop Bordeaux

The event served as a platform for dialogue and collaboration among scientific communities coming from both sides of the border, from physics and chemistry to cryptography and high-performance computing (HPC).

The meeting focused on a range of cutting-edge topics, including, among others:

                •             Quantum algorithms for physics and chemistry

                •             Quantum optimization methods and Monte Carlo techniques

                •             Quantum cryptography

                •             Quantum error correction codes

                •             Coupling quantum computing with HPC

Participants shared recent research findings, discussed theoretical and practical challenges and explored opportunities for interdisciplinary partnerships. The atmosphere was one of open exchange and forward-looking collaboration, with the goal of accelerating the development and application of quantum algorithms across multiple domains.
