BasQ Research Seminars (1/3)

This fall, a series of Quantum Research Seminars will be organized by BasQ in collaboration with IBM, featuring monthly talks by leading figures in the field of Quantum Technologies. The seminars will provide an opportunity for experts and enthusiasts alike to explore cutting-edge research and developments in this rapidly advancing domain.

The first seminar will take place on September 18th at 12:00 PM, with Tomas Eckl as the guest speaker. The event will be held at the CFM/MPC Auditorium in Donostia. Eckl, Chief Expert in Computational Materials Design and now leader of Bosch's quantum computing initiatives within Corporate Research, will kick off the series with his insights into achieving Quantum Utility for industrial applications in Materials simulation, showcasing initial results from a materials simulation workflow developed at Bosch and validated on the IBM Quantum System.

In October, Nicolas Lorente, a CSIC scientist and researcher at the CFM/MPC, will be present in Leioa, followed by a talk in November by Elisa Bäumer, Research Scientist at IBM, again in Donostia.
