Beyond VQE Workshop

Tailored for experts working in quantum chemistry, materials science, and condensed matter physics, the session will feature a 1-hour talk followed by an open discussion. Topics will include:
• Insights into IBM working groups and quantum-centric supercomputing.
• A review of hybrid quantum/classical algorithms, including the motivations and limitations of the Variational Quantum Eigensolver (VQE).
• Overviews of innovative approaches like Sample-based Quantum Diagonalization (SQD) and Krylov Quantum Diagonalization (KQD).
• Practical demonstrations of SQD implementation using Qiskit tools.
